Building external walls with AAC
AAC Ecopanels external wall system has been specifically developed to go up faster.
AAC Ecopanels external wall system has been specifically developed to go up faster. The system consists of our 75mm thick, steel-reinforced panels, fixed vertically to horizontal top hats attached to the load-bearing frame.
AAC Ecopanels have been developed to be lightweight while maintaining its structural integrity. This lighter panel, combined with our new top hat fixing system speeds up the installation process quite significantly.
The final result is achieved by applying a two part coating system using Dulux product "Acratex". This consists of a 5mm base coat and a 2mm colour giving the final product a smooth, modern rendered look. Stone work can also be applied directly to the panel for a natural stone appearance.
- Fastest most efficient way to install AAC panels (2 people can install up to 150m2 within 3 days depending on site conditions).
- Installation 60% faster than masonry, on average 80 bricks is the equivalent of one panel.
- Non-combustible with an Fire Rating of 4 hours +.
- Outstanding thermal and acoustic qualities increase levels of comfort and save on energy heating and cooling costs.

Divider room walls are installed using 2 types of methods, frame and gyprock or Track n Panel. Frame and gyprock is as the name suggests, a frame is constructed with a number 1 insulation batt inserted and a 10 - 13mm gyprock is affixed then painted.
Track n panel is installed by using a track bolted onto the base slab or AAC second storey flooring, panels are inserted side by side along the track forming a wall, gyprock or white set is applied then it is painted. This gives the room a solid feel and greatly reduces the sound transfer between rooms, giving heightened privacy.
